Cecília Antakly de Mello é professora no Departamento de Cinema, Rádio e Televisão, ECA, Universidade de São Paulo. Foi Jovem Pesquisadora FAPESP na Unifesp – Campus Guarulhos, com o projeto “Intermidialidade, Estética e Política no Cinema Chinês de Jia Zhang-ke” (2012-2015). Possui graduação em Direito pela Universidade de São Paulo (1996), mestrado de Bristol (1998) e doutorado da Universidade de Londres (2006), sob a orientação de Laura Mulvey. Realizou estágio de pós-doutorado como Visiting Fellow na Taipei National University of the Arts, Taipei, Taiwan (2010), no Centre for World Cinemas, Universidade de Leeds, Reino Unido (2011), na Beijing Film Academy, Pequim, China (2013) e na Universidade de Pequim, China (2015).
Cecília Antakly de Mello is a lecturer at the Department of Film, Radio and Televsion at ECA, University of Sao Paulo. She was a FAPESP Early Career Reseracher at Unifesp – Guarulhos Campus, with a project entitled “~intermediality, Aesthetics and Politics in the Chinese Cinema of Jia Zhang-ke (2012-2015). She has a degree in Law from the University of Sao Paulo (1996), with a Masters from Bristol (1998) and PhD from London, where she was supervised by Laura Mulvey. She was a post-doctoral Visiting Fellow at the Taipei National University of the Arts, Taipei, Taiwan (2010), in the Centre for World Cinemas (Leeds, 2011), the Beijing Film Academy (2013) and the University of Beijing (2015).
